Just like television, reading blogs can be a way to escape. I can understand the appeal of some of these blogs with their artistic photos and cutesy pictures of cupcakes and what not. I understand the wanting and longing for a romantic, cute, perfect life. The only problem is that nothing is always perfect. No one’s life is always cute. Therefore, these blogs like television and the mainstream media offer false illusions that people often try to mimic but only to find themselves disappointed.
